via the Firm’s “Virtual Internship Program”
Student-athlete at the University of South Florida Joins Fast Growing Miami-based Agency
Miami, Fl December 8, 2004- AJR & Partners, Inc., a Miami based PR and marketing agency, has named Alana Tanksley virtual intern via the “virtual internship program,” announced Alec J. Rosen, managing partner, AJR & Partners, Inc.
The AJR Virtual Internship Program is a one of a kind in the US and is designed to allow responsible and self-starting communications students an opportunity to intern for a fast-paced agency. All AJR VIP’s must be self motivated and demonstrate an ability to juggle school, work and other extra-curriculum activities. Former VIP’s included an Air Force Veteran from New Jersey attending school on the GI Bill.
Alana will be responsible for working virtually with AJR & Partners on one or more of the following core PR and communications disciplines: media planning, media relations, writing press releases, press kits, and developing media lists.
“Alana’s ability to be both a star athlete on the court and a highly motivated student makes her a addition excellent addition to the AJR Team,” said, Rosen. “Since Alana has been participating in sports her whole life, and now plays for the University of South Florida, she also brings a competitive edge, and she knows how to handle herself under pressure.”
Tanksley is currently a junior at the University of South Florida pursuing a degree in Public Relations and a minor in Marketing. She also is on a full athletic scholarship playing basketball at the university.
